Stipends for eDesign Course Development
All full-time, part-time and adjunct faculty have the opportunity to receive the following incentives. The incentives are:
- $2,000 stipend after the course is developed, and peer approved.
- The departmental equivalent adjunct rate will be paid when the course is taught in an online method coded course (BT, BTL, BM) for the first time as a stipend.
Stipends for Course Design Update
All instructional staff are eligible for updating and refreshing an online course and receiving a flat stipend in the amount of $1,500. As technology is rapidly changing, and open resource materials are becoming more readily available it is important for each course to get a fresh look every 3 years. This payment will be processed upon completion of the ReDesign and peer review.
Stipends for Professional Development
Any instructional staff member can participate in the eCertification course and receive the following incentive. In order to successfully complete the 8-week workshop, the participant must collect all badges to earn the eLearning Designer/Facilitator certification.
- Successful completion of all badges earns a $500 stipend
Please note that Ph.D. candidates and master degree students are welcome to participate in the eCertification course; however, they are not eligible for the $500 stipend.
Stipends for Quality Matters Review
Any instructional staff member can receive a stipend of $1000 for submitting a course and receiving the Quality Matters seal for their online course.
