Mentoring Students in Research: Creative Ways to Mentor during a Pandemic
Wednesday August 12, 2020
Join us for a Faculty Panel on sharing ideas and practices on how best to support our students. Faculty and Staff from across various offices, colleges, and disciplines are coming together to share how we can support our students in the virtual climate as we approach the Fall Semester. Much of the discussion will cover creative ways we can continue mentoring students in research while working remotely during a pandemic.
This virtual event is a collaborative effort among several groups at FAU including the FAU Libraries, Office of Undergraduate Research and Inquiry, eLearning, Division of Research and FAU High. Faculty panelists include Drs. Diane Baronas-Lowell (College of Science), Seth Fallik (College of Social Work and Criminal Justice), Ceylan Isgor (College of Medicine), and Thomas Stollar (College of Arts and Letters). To join the conversation, please join us at this link at 1:00pm on August 12th:
